Hey guys i have had a look around and i cant seem to find anyone that has the same issue as me. I Know i must have missed something but i cant work out what. I have been using an express version of sql server and have now decided to use a dev version for some testing. I have run the sql installer and restored the databases correctly. Now that i have done that my IIS6 server can not see the sql 2005 server. is says that that name is wrong or it doesnt exist. As the express package i have does all the setup for me i have never had to do anything like this.
Simple question but i really have no idea what to do.
Thanks in advance, Callum

Can you ping the server?
