    You can start with BOL - comes with SQL Server for free.

    On the other hand, if you do not have database background may be a good idea to read some material about relational theory so to understand SQL Server implementation.

    We do not condone posting of PDFs that are for sale. If you want to learn about SQL Server, make your own investment in a book.

    Or use the free documentation, as Paul mentioned.
