This post was a great recognition to those who travel extensively and the impact that it has on them and their family. For a period of time, I figured that I spent more time in actual travel (airports, flights, Lyft) on average than I did at home during the entire week. While the perks of airline miles and hotel points along with their attendant statuses are nice, they don't replace the time lost at home.
I was reminded one time that "You work for a living, not live for work." We need to remember that more often.
