Getting password prompt while deploying SSRS 2008 Report on report server

  Hi All,

  Whenever I am trying to deploy my reporting services project in my report server using BIDS, SSRS welcome with a nice irritating password prompt asking for credentials for deploying report. I tried giving my windows credentials but no success.

  I search on google about this error. People saying that provide SQL Server authentication instead of windows and blah blah.... But in my case its again not working. Following are some options that I had applied with no success.

  1) Open BIDS by right click and run as administrator.

  2) Used windows authentication in the prompt.

  3) Set report server URL property to my report manager URL.

  4) Used SQL Server authentication instead of windows.

  5) Selected option as "No Credentials" in my Shared Data Source.

  My system (windows 7) is running SQL Server 2008 Reporting services with admin privilege given to my local windows user account.

  Please suggest what I need to do for removing this issue.
