getting an error about msdb database marked suspect in ms office accounting software

    Hello,

    when doing a back up of files in ms office's accounting express software, I get an error message that says that "the msdb database has been marked SUSPECT by recovery. See the SQL server errorlog for more information. Could not insert a backup or restore history/detail record in the msdb database. This may indicate a problem with the msdb database." If I click ok, I can use the software, but this happens every time I open the program. I called MS and they have no idea what I am talking about.

    Can you help?

    Do you have a DBA there, or someone that knows SQL well?
