Hello,
so I have a part number, and I want to display it in the header, however I do see it available as "FIRST" meaning it will only display the FIRST part, however this particular report, the user has a chance to select Multiple parts, so the report is grouped by parts to show the part above and details about the part below... however because SOME of the details are so long.. it cuts off and goes onto the next page... leaving the page header showing, HOWEVER due to it being grouped, i cant display the part, as it will show the first part and not the second part or the part that is showing in the report... example
Page 1.... Part 1234
blah blah blah
Page 2 ... Part 4567
blah blah
blah blah
page 3
blah blah
as you can see above, page 3 doesnt or will not have the part, because its not part of the header, and if i use FIRST, then it will show me part 123, and not 456...
any idea how i can get around this? i did try using the option:
"Repeat Header rows on each page"
also tried "Repeat header Columns on each page.", but still doesnt work...
my only idea is MAYBE to use the CODE and declare a variable.,.. but not sure how i can do that... any thoughts ideas?
