Perhaps off-topic, but a lot of EU citizens cannot use the Kindle formatted E-books on their e-readers. Your EU audience may be lower, but it cannot be that hard to also create an EPUB formatted alongside the Kindle version, although I really don't know anything about technical difficulties or epub licenses that perhaps should be acquired.

These books are published by authors and publishers for profit. We are linking to them as affialiates. There are links for Kindle in other countries for referrals, but we typically don't add them.
Most publishers don't sell ePub versions of in-print books as they don't want them copied over to their friends without payment. There is DRM in Kindle, and the ease of the format has made this popular for publishers.
If you buy the Kindle, there are ways (https://www.reddit.com/r/Calibre/comments/1f346xs/where_can_i_buy_ebooks_to_have_it_available_as/) to get a version of some books into some eReaders, but I don't know how common or easy this is for the tech books.
