  Hi,

  I have been reading that if i make a full backup that is copy only, this backup will not affect my restore sequence...

  For example, suppose that i have made a full backup (normal full backup), then i make a normal differential backup, then i make a full backup copy only and then i make other differential backup.

  Can i restore the second differential backup with the normal full backup that i made first?

  Yes, that's how it works.

  SQL Server 2005 SSMS doesn't have a GUI switch to perform the copy only backup, but it's built into SQL 2008 SSMS.
