  Hi,

  I'm trying to use the FTP Task to pick up files in DTS. However I get an error message, something like "Can't retrieve file..." So I checked BOL and followed the suggestion to try the same operation using http://FTP.exe to get a better error message. And sure enough the error seems to be that the file must be retreived in binary. However I'm assuming the FTP task is defaulted to ASCII and I can't find the property to set it to Binary.

  Or maybe thats not the problem at all.

  Sorry not seen this happen before. What service pack are you running as SP 1 makes serveral fixes related FTP Task?
