Flat File Connection Manager

    I am trying to import a txt file from a solaris server in another domain, can I provide a username & password to connect to this file in a SSIS package using connection manager?

    I can get this to work fine in BIDS.

    Any advice please.

    I don't know of a way to specify a user id and password for a flat file connection.... since your source is a Solaris box, can you snatch the file using FTP instead?
