File transfering between filegroups

  Hi,

  I have 2 files in primary filegroup both are having data in it.

  I have created a new filegroup  and want to shift one file (non .mdf) from the primary filegroup to the new filegroup, what are the ways to do it and which one is the most efficient?

  Take that DB offline.

  Move the files to different location.

  Detach and then attach using sp pointing to the file location
