I have worked on the 180 days trial version of sql2005. at the end of my trial period i bought a standard edtion of the 2005 sql server 5 CAL´s included.
The "update" of my trial to my standard edtion works fine (setup.exe SKUUPGRADE=1), but after that (and install of service pack 1) i have the following error when i open my analysis server in visual studio 2005:
"Error in connection with the feature availability and - configuration: The feature “Perspectives” is not contained in of the SKU “standard edition”."
(thats not the exact phrase, i use a german version so i translate the error for posting here)
Is that a problem, because i don´t have any more an enterprise version ? - or what does that mean ?
Hope somebody has an idea

There are several feature differences between Enterprise Edition [EE] and Standard Edition [SE] (see the whole list here). I think that the trial is Enterprise (where the intent is to allow you to see/test/traial all features of SQL server) so in 'upgrading' from the trial (EE) to SE you've gone backwards in some ways.
Steve.
