Looks like a fun end to the season with Ray down by ~50 points but has the 49er trio of Frank Gore, Michael Crabtree and Phil Dawson yet to play. The Falcons are terrible and aren't playing for anything but pride...SF has the emotion of the last game to be played at Candlestick (most likely). We'll see which Kaepernick shows up.
I'll write a recap tomorrow once it's official.

I feel like I'm down by five runs in the bottom of the ninth! Daunting, but not insurmountable!

Cor blimey Gov'ner. I've only won another, albeit meaningless, game, and I was so far behind with one player left to play! Lets hope I can take this into the next season 🙂

Well, my three Niners had good games last night, but in order for me to win, I needed for them to have great games. My comeback came up short.

I apologize for not being active in the forums here during the season - it's been a hectic time, and popping over here just plain slipped my mind.
That said, thanks, everyone! I was surprised by how well I ended up doing, but I have to say, it was a fun season!

Congratulations to Ditka, our 2013 SSCFFL champion.
From day one, the Ditka powerhouse was on display, with little in his way to slow him down. With the mid season pickup of a stupidly dropped Ryan Matthews (wtg SQLDCH) and riding the record breaking arm of Peyton Manning, Ditka set his sites squarely on a league title. Even with a huge game from the Way0utWest Cowboys and a valiant effort from the Orange Engineers, destiny would not be altered. Ditka averaged a solid 114 points per week.
Ray's bid to become the first league champion with a subpar regular season came up short, as the 49ers could not put up enough points for him to finish his ascent.
Happy Holidays to all of you, it was another fun season. Hope to see you all next year!

Congrats again, and I'll send out prizes today to Patrick and Ray. I'm not sure if I did 3rd and 4th last year, but I'll look and send something out as well to 4th.

Alright, the slacker is back at work.
Prizes sent, and congrats again.
As a reminder for me next year, I sent $50 to 1st, $40 to second, and $30 to third. Actually, I'll start a 2014 thread now as a reminder.

Thanks Steve - it was a very nice surprise, as I had been playing along just assuming it was a "for fun" league!
Of course, this means I'll pay closer attention next year, and probably end up in the cellar 😀
