Export to SSIS and maintain Drop down

    Hello All,

    In this i have two task to be done. I have to export data from a excel 2007 to Table in sql server 2008. the excel has drop down list where user has selected the values. this export to table can be achieved with out any problem.

    But the same vice versa like from table to excel 2007 where i need to maintain the same drop down options in the excel. Can you please guide me on this. thanks.

    That won't be (easily) possible with SSIS. SSIS just dumps the data in the Excel file.

    Maybe if you create an empty sheet with the dropdown already present and SSIS just fills up the individual cell, that might work.
