I have installed SQLServer2008 R2 recently on Windows XP machine with Mixed Mode Authentication. And I have SQLServer2005 on the same machine.
I have added my windows domain account in the SysAdmin role during installation.
I can logon to SQL2008R2 using the windows account without any problems. But when I try to Export Data from 2008 to 2005 both on the same machine I am getting this error.
I am in sysadmin role therefore I should be able to export data and do anything without any problem. I googled extensively but none of them have found a solution for this problem yet.
Can anyone please help me to resolve this?
Many thanks in Advance.

Thanks for your reply and time.
Okay, my domain account has got sa privileges on both 2008/2005 for sure.
I am logged into the pc using the same domain account therefore its not locked out, if I understand it right or are you referring to something else being locked out.
And the other thing is when I am trying to export data using Import Export Wizard its not even going past the first screen - 'Choose your DataSource' when I choose my 'Sever name' and 'database' and then click 'Next', that's when I am getting this error...
P.S: I even reinstalled the SQL2008R2, but it didn't work..

Thanks.
This machine is on the network, so I logged into my pc at work using my domain account
for eg. domain\accountname.
If you are referring to domain controller, then no I do not have access to it.
