Explanation of duration in MS

    I have a query that is long running. It takes about 30 seconds to run. My question is why does this graph in the query store show that it runs for 4 million MS, which would be 66 minutes?

    the graph says it clearly, "total duration", 30 seconds per execution x 1000 times = 30,000 seconds.

    you need to switch to Avg, the y-axis would display "avg duration", which should be close to your 30 seconds.
