  [Excel Destination [320]] Error: SSIS Error Code DTS_E_CANNOTACQUIRECONNECTIONFROMCONNECTIONMANAGER. The AcquireConnection method call to the connection manager "Excel Connection Manager 2" failed with error code 0xC0202009. There may be error messages posted before this with more information on why the AcquireConnection method call failed.

  am getting this error when i try to use excel as a destination and . It says they may be error message posted before but there are no error posted. I have a file in a shared folder with .xls extension and but I don’t have Microsoft office installed in my server but I can access the file from any of machine that have office installed so am sure the file exist . am wandering if it is because I don’t have office installed in the server or some other problem …
