  • Hi All,

I have the following error messages in My event logs, not been able to resove the issue. Can anyone tell me if i need to re-install Full Text Search? It is SQL 2000SP4, a 24/7 production server so would rather avoid having to do the re-install if possible. I looked at MS article 317746 - Is this the correct issue for these messages?

    Many thanks

  • The closest reference I could find to this error was related to a cluster with SP3 installed. You are not on a cluster, are you? If so you can test the following work-around and see if that resolves your problem.

Microsoft Search full-text catalog population fails when you upgrade SQL Server 2000 failover cluster to SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 3

  • Hi, Thanks for the reply. It is not on a cluster, just a standalone install.
