I thought of that but I wasn't sure what it would do to the databases. The Log files are a major part of the evaluation work I've been doing and I didn't want SQL Server thinking they were surplus to requirements because the dates were wrong. (It would also have meant disabling a lot of services
that run as automated tasks.)
It's all sorted now anyway thanks.
RC0 is a much more stable version and now I know I can reattach databases in these circumstances, it's not so much of an issue.
