ETL Performance has tanked, Symantec Anti-Virus software had been updated on server?

    Background

    I have a client that has been running an ETL process that pulls data from an AS400. For the past couple of months this process completes in about 12 minutes. Last Friday they upgraded Symantec on the server which this process runs and now the job runs in 80+ minutes only after I changed the pulling of stage data to be single threaded and not 4 at a time. Before the change the job was hanging up.

    Has anyone else encountered this issue or something similar??

  • Do you see any things weired in Process Monitor??
