Hi Guys,
I am stuck on this error message. I am using a script task (VB.net script) in the SSIS package and getting the below message. Please guide me. I will be happy to answer any questions you have in order to suggest a solution.

Error: 0x1 at Collect_Performance_logs: System.Reflection.TargetInvocationException: Exception has been thrown by the target of an invocation. ---> Microsoft.SqlServer.Dts.Runtime.DtsRuntimeException: The element cannot be found in a collection. This error happens when you try to retrieve an element from a collection on a container during execution of the package and the element is not there.

This occurs when the number of errors reaches the number specified in MaximumErrorCount. Change the MaximumErrorCount or fix the errors.

Hi Guys,
I figured it out myself. The issue was due to the fact that I did not enable the User variable in the ReadOnlyVariables in the script tasks and I was using them in the script. Everything worked after I enabled the variables.

Error can also be resolved by checking the spelling of variables used in your code vb code.
