    If you give us some more details ( version/edition/os and so on), you probably will get more help.

    There are a couple of connect items regarding your error message like:

    If you spend 30 secs on google, you will probably find your problem in no time.

    Hi

    thanks for your response.

    here we are using windows8 and we are installing sqlserver r2.

    what we found is we have installed the debug os on server due to that it is not installing.
