I ran a script to create a Linked Server, however I was obviously not correct.
Cannot initialize the data source object of the OLE DB provider "MSASQL" for linked server. (Microsoft SQL Server, Error: 7303)
I'm looking for a solution to this problem but I have not found one yet.
Does anyone have a link to step by step instructions with screen shots?
Thanks.

I found a solution at the following URL:
http://stackoverflow.com/questions/307636/how-do-you-setup-a-linked-server-to-an-oracle-database-on-sql-2000-2005
EXEC sp_addlinkedserver
@server = '{Linked Server Name}'
,@srvproduct = '{System DSN Name}'
,@provider = 'MSDASQL'
,@datasrc = '{System DSN Name}'
EXEC sp_addlinkedsrvlogin
@rmtsrvname = '{Linked Server Name}'
,@useself = 'False'
,@locallogin = NULL
,@rmtuser = '{Oracle User Name}'
,@rmtpassword = '{Oracle User Password}'
[/code]
I wondered why the OraOLEDB.Oracle Provider was not specified?
I would think that it would be faster?
