And the client is showing this error when trying to connect in GreatPlains:
Can someone possibly help?

My apologies. Here is the server error:
"Login failed for user 'user'. Reason: Password did not match that for the login provided. [CLIENT: 192.168.1.45]"
And the error on the workstation when trying to connect to GP:
"Connection failed:
SQLState: '08001'
SQL Server Error: 10061
[Microsoft][SQL Server Native CLient 10.0]TCP Provider: No connection
could be make because the target machine actively refused it."
