Error: Max Memory for Replication Queueing

  • Snap shot replication fails with following message:

"The maximum amount of memory for replication queuing has

been reached. Replication is stopped and memory is being

    freed."

The error seems straight forward, but I would like some

background on how SQL Server sets memory for Replication

Queueing. Then what to do about it. Perhaps, move

distributor to its own machine (currently dist/pub on same

    machine).

    Any Help?

    .

  • Dont know. Dont remember seeing a place to configure it. How much RAM do you have, what version of SQL?
