Error in Send mail Task

    I'm receiving the following error message when executing the SSIS Send Mail Task:

    [Send Mail Task] Error: An error occurred with the following error message: "Mailbox unavailable. The server response was: 5.7.1 Client does not have permissions to send as this server".

    Any suggestions please...

    I take it the user you specify does have permissions? (sorry I know thats a simple response)

    I can think of a couple of reasons..

    1. The SMTP server requires authentication, if so then the component can't be used since it doesn't support it.

    2. There is an access control list in the mail server that needs to be setup to allow mail from this machine's IP.

    I figured the problem out .

    Thats with the networking team and they accomplished it.t
