i am trying to create a new maintainance plan, it's giving an error. Earlier it was working fine. Suddenly it's starts giving this an error.
error:
2008-10-05 09:20:58.61 Logon The prelogin packet used to open the connection is structurally invalid; the connection has been closed. Please contact the vendor of the client library. [CLIENT: ]
2008-10-12 09:23:57.34 Logon Error: 17828, Severity: 20, State: 3.
If u have solution for any of these, please send me.

Are you sure that's coming from the maintenance plan? If you start the maint plan's job manually, do you get the same error? How ofte is it scheduled, what does it do?

yeah i am sure.when i am ryt click the maint.plan to create new plan, then it's giving this error. without resolving this error how can i start main.plan. manually.basically we create a main.plan for database backup & cleaning. But one day when we open studio to check the maintain plan .it gives this error.
