  Process ID 54 attempting to unlock unowned resource PAG: 7:1:17416344..

  I got this error during an update procedure on a very large table. I am on Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Developer Edition / SP3 which according to this article http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;331885

  has fixed the problem, soooooooo ?

  Is there more to the fix?

  From the KB article:

  This problem was first corrected in Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Service Pack 4.
