ENTERPRISE MANAGER CRASH

    Hello,

    Can someone explain to me why each time I try to access the Properties of a DB in EM the app kicks me out?  I also noticed that when I go to backup a DB, the Transaction log option is disabled.  What do I need to do?

    Assuming that this happening on the Enterprise Manager on your workstation, I would reinstall the SQL Client utilities on your workstation.

    As for the Transaction Log option been disabled, check to see what recovery model the database has. If its Simple, then you can't do Transaction Log backups!
