Empty Datasource After Encryption Key Restoration

    Hello everyone

    I have a request to transfer a reporting server  from a production server to another development server

    To make sure I restores the database reportserver and reportservertempdb

    then I restore the encryption key

    but despite that my datasource appears empty

    Who can help me about this error

    If the datasource name is not on the new server than its an invalid reference.  Try creating the datasource with the same name as the production server (pointing to the same server/database also).  Note you may need to go into the properties of the report and relink to the datasource because once its lost its lost (usually due to GUID IDs of objects in the XML).
