    We have a user with read-only permissions that is hitting our production database with locally stored DTS packages. We've managed to deny him permission to save the DTS packages on the server, but are looking for a way to disallow him the use of DTS altogether.

    By default a public user can access/ modify/ Delete the DTS packs. Deny the permissions on sp_enum_dtspackages and sp_add_dtspackage stored procs in the msdb to prevent
