DTS and Integration Services

    Hi,

    We are about to upgrade our SQL 2k to 2005, but we have so many DTS packages that basically dumps and uploads files from so many tables.

    What's the best approach to change these packages? Is integration services capable of defining new DTS packages and will it be easy?

    p.s. any book that you can recommend for a newbie like me to quickly learn the tool that can replace the DTS packages?

    MSDN.com has an article on running DTS packages from SQL 2005, and on upgrading from DTS to SSIS. That's the best place to start.
