I'm looking for opinions on the Doubletake Vs. Wansync products for use in replicating SQL server data to an off site location for use in our Disaster Recovery plan.
I'm looking for comparisons on their respective merits, advantages and disadvantages of both.
Anyone out there used them both in the past?
Tom.

I have not used either, though I'd seen Doubletake (years ago) and it was pretty cool.
Lately there has been some talk on CDP. I spoke with the someone from Timespring (http://www.timespring.com/) yesterday and it was pretty neat sounding. A little pricey, but there are a couple other similar vendors. Sonasoft might help you as well.

Thanks Steve.
What is CDP by the way?

CDP -- Continuous Data Protection
Anything with point-in-time recovery is nice. But make sure you need this as a requirement.
