Hi
I have a transactional replication set up, with 4 publications. I am currently running transactions on one of the publication. So what i have done is I have stropped the distribution agent for the other three publications. I have also turned the log reader and the Queue reader also.
Therefore as a result I have only on distribution agent running which is trying to replicate data based on the transaction delivered earlier by the log reader into the distribution database.
The problem is, each time the distribution times out saying "The process is running and is waiting for response from one of the backend connections"
Now I would like to know what is it that i am missing? what is the connection that the distribution agent is waiting for a response from... Can I find out anything about this from anywhere.
The same distribution agent has replicated transaction involving about 57 million records already out of a possible 90 million records. But now I am stuck with this problem.
Help appreciated.
Cheers
Vikram

Hello there,
I have the same problem with trans replication. My problem is only on a certain time of the day. I have searched all the possible parallel processes and Jobs, and there isn't any conflict among them. Also there isn't any Job, whose running time is more than 26 mins.
I would appreciate any help on the matter.
Thanks in advance.
