  Hi,

  How can I measure the disk reads and writes to see if I need to add aditional disks to the server?

  Hi,

  There are performance counter for the disks.

  You can measure for example

  Avg. Disk Sec/Read and Avg. Disk sec/Write counters

  in the Performance monitor tool (perfmon.exe). You can find them under Physical or Logical disks counters.
