HI
Can anybody suggest me how to check the IOPS for mssql 2000 / 2005 / 2008 database so that we can go for disks required to fulfill the request of mssql?

I don't fully understand your question, but if you are trying to determine the speed of your IO subsystem I suggest the free Microsoft tool SQLIO - search for "SQLIO Disk Subsystem Benchmark Tool" on Microsoft.com

See if this blog on "Handy Hardware Accessment Tools" will give you the answer you're looking for as far as tools are concerned.

Or you can read this thread that discusses using sqlio to measure your disk I/O.

Hope this helps.
