  • This is the reality of the service industry today.  Our youngest son owns an HVAC company employing 15-16 people, and they provide "always on" support.  He is never without his phone, and depends on good communications capability, often sitting in our living room on weekends video-consulting with employees doing emergency repairs and/or installation, helping with problems, arranging emergency parts pickup.  Even when he and his family are off in their travel trailer 'getting away', he always needs a good connection that enables him to catch up on billing and order supplies.  One of his largest challenges is getting timely billing done to maintain cashflow.
