Hi, can anyone tell me the difference between database server & archive server?
Once I heard that one is to store files and the other one is to store settings. But I am not sure which is which.
Help needed here please.

In what context?
There isn't something specifically called an 'archive server'. You can have a database server that stores the archived portions of databases, a file server that stores archived files, but 'archive server' isn't really a specific role.
