Deleting the 2nd OS at Initialization

  • I used Windows 2000 Professional, but had to change to W2000Server: I "migrated" all files and other settings I had, and even deleted the old "/WINNT" directory -- but, when I initialize my computer, there come 02 operational systems for me to "choose" between! So, please help me:

    - How can I delete the old W2000 Professional that (I presume) only "virtually" resists?

    TIA Dalton

  • The reference is in the boot.ini file. Make a backup copy and edit just the line that needs to be removed.
