Deleting a connection from a package

I deleted from a DTS package a connection that I do not used any more, yet I continue seeing it in disconnected edit and in the existing connections list. Any clues how to get rid of it.

Are you checking the last version of your dts package?

Have you tried creating a new connection with the same name and then deleting it again?

Also, try the following. http://www.sqldts.com/default.aspx?6,222,253,0,1
