DDS-4 tape to LTO tape.

    hi all,

    Can any one help me with this problem:

    How I can transfer the archived data in DDS-4 tape to LTO tape, And I can restore that archived data in LTO to SQL server ?

    If you still have the tape drive for the DDS-4 tape: restore it to a server and then copy it to LTO.

    Other than that, you'll probably have to find a company that does transfers and pay $$$ to have the data copied over (basically they do the same thing as above - restore it then recopy it). Contact your tape device vendor and they can probably point you in the right direction.
