It would very helpful if this article had an introductory paragraph or two explaining the need for this script. Obviously it is so that the checkdb results can be written to a table, but the article should explain more and explain why this is better than the Hallengren version, etc.

I'd recommend renaming the article to either "Output DBCC CHECKDB to a table" or "DBCC CHECKDB Output to a table", the title confused me into thinking it was something else until I read more of the article and script.
