  Yesterday I patched our two node cluster which is hosting an AOAG. Everything seemed to patch OK, failover worked, and I had a couple of the applications tested and all seems to be working.

  However, looking on the secondary, there are a lot of sessions with the command DB STARTUP running when I run sp_who2. Some of these are against databases where when I look in the log, there are messages saying 'Recovery completed'.

  I've checked one of the larger DBs this morning, and the data is being synchronised as far as I can tell (an audit table has matching entries on both servers), all dbs are showing as 'Synchronised', but I don't know why they are still showing as DB STARTUP.

  Does anything need to be done to sort this out? Or is this going to cause issues? This is my first time working with an AOAG and so it's all new to me.
