Date column Error

    Have you trying using the Data Conversion task in the Data Flow tab. Should be up to the task.

    In properties on the excel connection manager.

    Check the connection string. Make sure IMEX=1 in the extended properties.

    i.e

    Extended Properties="EXCEL 8.0;HDR=NO;IMEX=1";

    Hi,

    Thanks a lot. setting extended properties to IMEX=1 works, provided when i set all my excel columns meta data to text.
