Database server becomes slow

  Hi,

  i have a website having dedicated 150 local users and 150 online users. site is in my local

  Application Server - IBM SBS Win2k3 server having 2 GB RAM.

  Database Server - IBM SBS Win2k3 server having 4 GB RAM running Sql server 2000.

  Problem :

  my site gets very slow in pick hours, even i have to restart sql service. As soon as i restart sql server's service it becomes smooth, and sometimes i have to restart server. But i don't have to reset iis.

  it runs very good at evening when number of users are less without any problem.

  I don't know where the problem is. What should i do resolve this problem ?
