Database mirroring Witness server

  I've got a problem. I'm trying to setup a database mirroring session with a SQL 2005 Express as a witness.. When I tried to start the mirroring I got an error that said Alter Database att witness server is not allowed, connection problem. I've enabled the TCP/IP on the express edition but i can't get it to work. the reason I want to use Express is to save money. Anyone know of any guide to setup a witness server with express edition?
