  i am going to configure sql server mirroring

  i got appeared this message

  Msg 1469, Level 16, State 1, Line 2

  Database mirroring cannot be enabled because the "CMSNaveed" database is an auto-close database on one of the partners.

  although i have taken  a coplete backup and log backup as well

  and restored by Norecovery option

  My Principal name is CMSNAVEED

   plz help me

  Hi

  Auto-close means that database will shut down after the last connected user has exited. U will disable this. U can do this by taking database properties\options.

  This is a feature that will not be there in future SQL Server versions , so avoid using this.
