Hello to everyone.
Anyone knows if the database mail feature (msdb.dbo.sp_send_dbmail) will be impacted by this?
Deprecation of Basic authentication in Exchange Online
I was wondering if any account in the Database Mail profiles configured using basic or anonymous authentication would stop working in Jan 1st, 2023...

Do you send mails with Exchange Online through msdb.dbo.sp_send_dbmail?
We use a regular smtp-server for dbmail and is not impacted (as it doesn't use exchange online)

Well, actually I´m not sure if we use Exchange Online or not... In the account configuration we do use a local smtp-server, but at the end this local server connects to Exchange Online (at least that was what my network admin said...)

As you use a local smtp server, msdb.dbo.sp_send_dbmail will work find since it only sees the local smtp server.
Maybe your network admin could help configuring the smtp-server?

Ok, Thanks a lot Jo Pattyn. I do also think that everything will continue to work after new year´s eve.
Let´s wait and see.
