I'm running SQL 2000 SP2 and regularly find one of my Databases set to Single User Mode when I check it in the morning. What could be causeing this??
thanks

Most common is a db maintenance plan that is set to repair errors. I know there was a bug in earlier versions (but not SP2 I thought) where sometimes the plan wouldn't restore the bug. For a while I had a job that ran at 6 am to do nothing but make sure the mode set correctly for all db's! Another possibility is you have some process running at night that is setting it and not resetting it when done.
