Hi,
We have a Reporting Server 2008 that is in another domain than a database server. I use a sql server account to access it.
The database server is a named instance.
How can I define a connection string in the report server?
Server=SERVERNAME\INSTANCENAME;Database=dbname; doesn't seem to work.
Server=IPADDRESS:PORT;Database=dbname; neither. (I also tried with a comma)
Anybody any ideas?
Thanks,
Jan

Elliot,
thanks. I already tried that, but I found out that it was a security issue on our local network.
